Location: Honolulu, Oahu, HI

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: One (1) year of administrative/clerical experience

Type: Full-time; Temporary, ASAP – 3 months w/ possible extension

Schedule: Normal business hours *working hours may change based on business needs*

Pay: $16.50/hr depending on experience

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing the verification process for all healthcare professionals (physicians, facilities, nursing, allied health etc.).
• Reviews applications for completion, verifies state licensure, collects information contained in several databases
• Maintains credentialing and recredentialing activities to ensure conformance with established organizational policy and procedures, national accreditation standards, and contractual state and federal requirements
• Verifies and tracks provider credentialing data and prepares records as instructed by management

Position Requirements:

• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, handling varied responsibilities at the same time
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Need strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to deal with volatile providers and provider staff in person and on the phone
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
