Overview

Program Associate, NG Operations will ,Apply academic competencies in supply chain fundamentals, operations and business management, and analytical thinking while developing the personal skills necessary for success in the Operations function.The Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Next Gen Operations Program (NGOP) is a one-year rotational development program designed to develop the future leaders of our Operations organization. As an NGOP associate you will gain experience through rotational assignments across multiple functions including: Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, Distribution and Production.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an improvement project
• Challenging their workplace and leadership competencies
• Planning and organizing, problem solving, decision-making, teamwork, and collaboration
• Training and presentations to senior executives

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a graduating senior (December 2022 or May 2023 graduates)
• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred degrees include but are not limited to: Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
• No more than two years professional working experience
• Demonstrated leadership in school or work and proven track record of delivering results
• Willingness to relocate to: Lakeland, FL | Syracuse, NY | Bolingbrook, IL | Dallas, TX | Union City, CA | Santa Fe Springs, CA
• May require overnight work during Warehouse Production rotation (5 weeks)
• Must be 21 years old or older at the start of the program

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
