7 Eagle Group is recruiting for a Production Manager in Glastonbury, CT, to join one of the oldest companies in the industry that specializes in the Photochemical Machining of precision metal parts. They are a contract manufacturer with customers in aerospace, electronics, medical devices, and computer components and create products for commercial customers in standard retail spaces.
Our client’s customers range from Fortune 100 companies to venture-backed start-ups. They are AS9100, ISO9001, and ITAR registered and are active Photo Chemical Machining Institute members.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Oversee all manufacturing and production processes
- Creates and executes daily/weekly production schedule
- Responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance
- Reduce expenses and increase productivity
- Ensure that all employees are trained and coached
- Maintain a safe and compliant workplace for all employees
- Monitor and report productivity rates
- Implement company procedures and policies
- Supervise employees in manufacturing areas
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing operations with management experience
- Firm grasp of manufacturing-related activities (production planning/scheduling, safety protocols, customer quality requirements, etc.)
- Direct experience with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement tools
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems
- Familiar with standard Microsoft Office suite programs
YOU'LL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- E2/JobBoss experience
- Experience with chemical etching, metal forming, and metalworking
