Job Overview
The DHS Account Manager is responsible for managing existing customers within their assigned regions. The position provides support and customer training on the use and application of the products. The position works in a matrix sales and support environment along with an assigned Territory Manger. This territory covers the Northeast and north Mid-Atlantic. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Manage existing customer accounts within an assigned region(s).
- Demonstrate working knowledge of how sterile processing departments, equipment tracking and sterilization are utilized in various clinical environments. Be able to offer clients solutions to improve workflow by selling additional products and services.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the operating room environment, procedure scheduling, patient flow, and vendor etiquette.
- Provide post-sales/go-live training including on-site and follow-up visits.
- Grow existing client book of business by selling additional T-DOC Modules, Torin Modules, and Tegris Systems.
- Conduct product demonstrations and in-service programs to build customer confidence in purchasing Getinge products.
- Work with Marketing and DHS Territory Managers to create updated presentations, demos and other technical requests to stay current.
- Support the DHS Territory Managers by providing product expertise, assisting with demo equipment, presentation materials, customer evaluations and other requests as defined by the DHS Area Sales Manager.
- Train on and grow product knowledge of all Getinge Solutions.
- Keep G-Force CRM database current by maintaining product installation list, client contact information, and service agreement information.
- Perform other job related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or clinical certification relevant to assigned product segment.
- Experience as a Certified Scrub Technician, Surgical LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) highly preferred.
- 2 years applicable clinical experience and/or medical sales experience relevant to product line, which includes direct selling experience to physicians and hospitals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Deep understanding of Hospital Sterile Processing Department including complete workflow.
- Understanding of hospital operating rooms process.
- Ability to relate successfully with customers of all kinds.
- Excellent presentation and objection-handling skills.
- Understanding of hospital IT departments, IT networking/connectivity and EMR/PACs systems.
- Deep understanding of Getinge solutions and implementation capabilities.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- The position requires travel of approximately 50%-75%.

Sales salary range: Total Compensation= $100,000 - $130,000 (base + at plan target incentive) depending on experience and location
