Accounting Assistant
Greenheart Farms, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team. We are seeking highly qualified applicants for an Accounting Assistant at our Arroyo Grande location. EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled.
Overview:
The Accounting Assistant will have the primary responsibility of accounts receivable, credit and collections, cash reporting and bank processing. Candidate must have experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger journal entries.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Receivable billing
· Receivable account reconciliations
· Preparing and posting cash receipts/bank deposits
· Weekly collections
· Daily cash reporting and bank processing
· Month End General Journal processing for AR & Bank activity
· General Ledger Reconciliation
· Allocation/Coding of payable invoices to proper general ledger account
· Processing payable invoices
· Processing weekly check runs
· Filing
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
· Experience in Accounts Payables, Receivables, General Journal Entries
· Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Mathematical ability to calculate and analyze percentages
· Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Detail oriented and display a high level of accuracy
· Business Central Software experience a plus (but not required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
