Carlisle Cadillac Buick GMC in Carlisle, PA is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to assist the Accounting Department in providing professional, accurate, and efficient accounting and payroll records. This position is full-time, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Hourly pay based on experience.

Top applicants will have prior bookkeeping experience, background in automotive finance, prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or accounting department. Qualified applicants need to be high energy, outgoing, and willing to work hand in hand with our Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Primary focus areas will be payroll and posting vehicle purchase entries
• Additional accounting duties as assigned. May include: daily bank reconciliation, tracking schedules, deposits, etc.
• Follow up with dealership departments to ensure accurate record keeping and sale documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
• Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience is a must
• 2 year Accounting degree preferred, not required
• Friendly and personable
• Business casual attire
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Willingness to take initiative
• Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks easily
