• Managing payroll process that includes importing, proofing, editing, processing, and transmitting all payroll wages, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and manual payments consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Performing specific duties related to insurance plans, 401k, Union Dues and flexible spending, accounts reconciliation of accounts, and timely vendor payments.
• Analyzing and auditing payroll data for accuracy of posting.
• Acquiring all necessary supporting documentation and approval letters from each Department.
• Preparing journal entries related to payroll and benefits and recording timely and accurately.
• Preparing payroll reports and obtaining all supporting documents for Clients.
• Assisting with General Accounting Tasks (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).

• Understanding all aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulations.
• Managing workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service to employees.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software Paycor and QuickBooks.
• Proficient in MS Office.

• Accounting 1 year.
• Bachelor's (Preferred).
• Payroll: 1 year (preferred).
• Paycor software experience a plus.
