The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealership through the accounting office as well as working daily with the Controller to complete various tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Accounts Payable, Receivable & Title Support
• Floorplan and Manufacturer posting and reconciliations
• Inventory Management and reconciliations
• Booking unit deals and schedule reconciliations
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Oversight of the accounting office personnel along with all aspects of the general ledger
• Proactively manage and safeguard company assets
• Process payroll and HR information
• Assist the Controller in various tasks
• Working various schedules and follow up with department managers and General Manager
• Month-Entries and closing procedures

Qualifications:

• Advanced automotive dealership accounting experience
• CDK software knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of accounting schedules/controlled accounts/general ledger
• Extensive knowledge, and proficiency, in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of dealership accounting month-end close
• Working knowledge of all accounting office positions
• Working knowledge of HR and Payroll process
• Supervisory experience
• Strong work ethic/attendance accountability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task

Pay: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
