Accounting Manager Job Description

Mobile One Courier has an opening for an Accounting Manager in our Finance and Accounting Department. This person will be a key contributor in helping Mobile One Courier achieve its goals for 2023. The right individual for this position will be responsible for payroll processing as well as all general ledger entries and related reconciliations for the various related companies. This is an in-person position located in Virginia Beach.

Accounting Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing of bi-weekly payroll
• Account reconciliations
• Month end closing journal entries in our accounting software
• Fixed asset management and related financial filings
• Processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Ordering office supplies
• Accounts Receivable collections
• Point of contact for vendors

Accounting Manager Job Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting required
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• High proficiency in Excel. Advanced knowledge and experience with Pivot table, VLOOKUP’s, etc.
• Extremely proficient in accounting functions and software, preferably QuickBooks
• Excellent planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• Consistently able to meet Accounting and Finance dapartment deadlines
• Highest level of integrity and trust to handle confidential information
• Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to new and changing situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
