PopStroke seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to become an important part of a rapidly growing team. This Accounting Specialist will be expected to perform a variety of general accounting functions along with leading the company’s accounts payable processing. This position reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for applying general principles of accounting, recording transactions, processing payments, reviewing and analyzing financial information. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and review proper accounting treatment for all transactions.

• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations and financial reports for assigned areas to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, and established policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.

• Maintain accounting controls and audit documents.

• Responsible for the timely payment, filing, and accuracy of tax liabilities and tax returns.

• Participate in special projects, team training, and development.

• Provide accounting support for new store construction.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications

• College Education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience, in the hospitality field preferred.

• Knowledge of the full accounting cycle.

• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.

• Experience with Sage Intacct or other similar multi-entity integrated accounting software.

• Experience with Accounts Payable automation tools is preferred.

• Experience with construction budgeting is a plus.

• Well organized and proactive, must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.

• Ability to adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in all proprietary business, financial, and employee matters.

• Excellent understanding of English, both written and verbal required; ability to communicate in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner with employees, clients, and vendors.

• Ability to adhere to a high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to be self-directed in a team-oriented environment.

• Position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, and occasional walking and standing.

• Position requires light to moderate work with 20 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.

• Position requires frequent use of a computer, reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing

TGR Design with Tiger Woods’ involvement will be responsible for designing the putting courses at all future PopStroke locations.
