Accounts Payable Specialist Job at Bessire & Casenhiser Inc.
Property management company is currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper that offers a great long-term potential to the successful candidate . You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Batching invoices for payment using Sage100 and Avid with close attention to the accuracy of vendor information, coding and timeliness of payment
- Recording of deposits and posting general journal entries
- Various account reconciliation, analysis and data entry
- Financial statement preparation and reporting
- Calculation of management fees and distribution to owners
- Budget input, month-end and year-end closing and 1099 reporting.
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years experience in accounts payable and full charge bookkeeping.
- The desired candidate preferably have a degree in accounting or currently working on it (bachelor's degree is a plus).
- Experience using Excel and Sage100 is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask at a high volume pace with accuracy
- Dependable, punctual, deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
