Accounts Receivable Representative Job at Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions
Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join the Accounting Team in Louisville, KY.
Overview of the Position:
This position is responsible for applying payments to customers’ accounts in the accounts receivable system and processing all miscellaneous cash receipts. Ensuring the general ledger accurately reflects all cash activity in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:
- Post all cash receipts to the appropriate accounts.
- Deposit checks through the electronic portal with the bank and review for accuracy daily.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with customers, Restaurant Sales & Services team, and the Credit Department.
- Balance external bank statements to internal cash sheets daily.
- Communicate with customers regarding payments via phone or email.
- Assist with month-end closing process.
- Assist with credit and returns process.
- Track returns to vendor
- Follow up on status of credit from vendor.
- Provides back up support to team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
- Early close on Friday at 1pm

Required Skills
- 1-3 years of accounting experience supporting cross-functional projects.
- Prefer an associate degree in accounting.
- Strong organizational skills and keen eye to detail
- Excellent communication and problem resolution skills.
- An initiative-taker with an exceptional work ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
