JOB POSTING –Acquisition Support Specialist

SinglePoint Acquisitions Group is a full-service property rights acquisition company. Our goal is to be the preferred provider and “SinglePoint” of contact for professional right of way services, project management, and field surveys to the utility and real estate development industry.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Acquisition Support Specialist for placement with one of our public utility clients located in downtown Atlanta. This position is home office based but the successful candidate must be able to occasionally commute to our client's offices and SinglePoint offices. Acquisition Support Specialists are responsible for researching titles and other title activities, creating, collecting, maintaining, and delivering accurate and timely documents related to right of way easements, land-owner payments, other contract deliverables, and project documentation.

A background verification and drug screen is required by our client for this position.

Daily duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with Land Agents/Acquisition Representatives and project managers to create and maintain right-of-way acquisition documents for property owners.
  • Researching and documenting land-owner titles, tax records, encumbrances, and other property interests via GIS and other online systems.
  • Reviewing, preparing, and maintaining legal documents on behalf of our clients.
  • Assist Acquisition Representatives with mapping exhibits and property rights documentation.
  • Assist with invoicing and data entry in the client's LIMS system.

Position Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in one of the following fields - paralegal, title processes, or property tax processes with focus on the principles and practices of real property acquisition.
  • General knowledge of title activities, tax records, and tax maps.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, GIS mapping software, and other real-estate related document system applications.
  • Thorough understanding of terms, verbiage, language, and formatting of real-estate transaction documents.
  • General understanding of data required for invoicing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to client or project-specific procedures and guidelines while exhibiting high degree of professionalism and project level teamwork.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
