Activity Assistant for Great SNF in Maryland Heights, MO

NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights is looking for a full-time Activity Assistant (*_Prior experience as a teacher, Sunday school teacher, or daycare professional desired_*) to join our fun team and assist in providing therapeutic programs which meets each patient's "individual" needs while providing an atmosphere of FUN and ENJOYMENT and other duties as requested. Applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative. Your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Pay is based on experience.

Schedule:

• Full-time: Mon-Fri, 8a-4:30p (& every third weekend)This position would be good for a nurturing, creative person who has general computer knowledge, and is self-motivated and adaptable.
• Or willing to work with flexible scheduled days.

We are located less than 5 miles from St Louis airport in Maryland Heights, MO! Our residents and visitors enjoy the animals in our animal courtyard- we have goats, chickens, and a Shetland pony!
