Village Home Health and Hospice is hiring for an Activities Community Liaison Event Planner(ACLEP). The ACLEP is responsible for the planning and designing activities and events with our partners in the community. The ACLEP is responsible for creating and designing activities to engage senior citizens and develop relationships with ALFs This position requires an experienced individual with strong leadership skills, as well as a public relations background. They provide pivotal support to the Team in organizing and managing events and other tasks as needed.

• Location: Village Home Health League City Office
• Type of Position: Full Time (Salary Position)
• Starting Salary/Benefits: $35,000 to $45,000 per year
• Benefits include Health Insurance, PTO Time, 401K, Dental Insurance

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required; preference given to applicants with college degrees in related fields.
• Must be at least 18 years old when employment begins.
• Pass a State/Federal Criminal History Check
• Background screening including employment and education history.
• Valid ODL with valid car insurance
• Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR
• Be fully vaccinated (or willing to become fully vaccinated while completing Orientation) against COVID-19 (subject to limited exemptions based on medical conditions, sincerely held religious beliefs, and/or applicable state laws and regulations)
• In person position, must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as events are planned.
• Familiar with Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tock, Twitter, any other social media platforms) how to add events and post activities

• Extraordinary interpersonal communication skills and ability to empathize with people/families.
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated with solid time management skills. This includes the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while being able to assess and address priorities.
• Ability to communicate and interact with different personalities to further the understanding and support of Village’s mission
• Ability to reach desired outcomes with little direct supervision
• Professional communication, writing, reading, math, and computer skills proficient to the requirements of the position
