Here at Shawnee Senior Living we are looking for a fun, caring and compassionate person to work as an Activities Assistant with our wonderful residents!
Job Duties for Activities Assistant:
- Effectively provide activities that provide entertainment, exercise, fun or relaxation for residents and meet identified resident satisfaction goals.
- Assists in planning and conducting resident group activities and room visits.
- Maintains activities calendar as required by Activities Director.
- Effectively encourages resident participation in activities.
- Involve residents and their families in planning activities and setting goals for the resident.
- Going on transports with the residents to and from outings
- Complete recreation progress notes and all other required documentation
- Implement and lead activities of therapeutic recreation according to monthly schedule and scheduled hours
- Collecting and delivering the mail to the residents
- Follow all safety procedures/Department of Public Health regulations
