The Sony Pictures Entertainment Trainee program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Spring Trainee position is from January through May 26th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Sony Pictures Television Advertiser Sales (SPTAS) is a full-service sales organization, representing a variety of television shows and cable networks, as well as branded entertainment. Within branded entertainment, SPTAS sells digital/social sales opportunities. SPTAS also works closely with Sony Pictures Television Distribution as well as Sony Pictures Television Research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The internship will have potential exposure in the following areas including ad sales, research, traffic, distribution, and branded entertainment

• Potential responsibilities could include supporting the sales team by prospecting for new advertisers, pulling and analyzing research reports, inputting schedules, and working with the branded entertainment team

• Day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on specific area needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must maintain a positive attitude

• Must be flexible working with various departments within ad sales, distribution, and research

• Analyzing research reports

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to multi-task, deliver clear, concise information written and orally

• Excellent attention to detail
