Position: Adjunct Faculty – Department of Mathematics

Reports to: Barnabas Bede, Department Chair

The Department of Mathematics at DigiPen Institute of Technology invites applications for an Adjunct Professor position in Mathematics. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate mathematics courses.

Job Duties:

• Teaching introductory courses in Mathematics
• Grade, provide feedback and input assignment data
• Participate in course and program assessment and development

Minimum qualifications:

• MSc Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Interest in teaching introductory level courses

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level
• PhD degree in Mathematics or related field
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to accommodate a wide variety of learning styles, diverse abilities, etc.

Salary Range:

$4,968 – $10,433 per term, depending on class size and faculty rank
