Great opportunity to join our busy Primary Care Administrative team!
Seeking an experienced, reliable, professional, caring and motivated medical administrative assistant to support our team of providers, aiming to grow within an administrative team setting, focused on patient satisfaction and well-being. In this role, you'll work alongside a talented medical administrative team to assist in meeting our daily goal of exceeding patient expectations.
This role encompasses all aspects of medical office administration:
- Welcoming, greeting and assisting patients in all facets of patient registration and scheduling needs.
- Fielding patient inquiries via call center, web encounters, patient portal, in-office reception desks.
- Learning and performing Electronic medical record workflows relevant to administrative roles.
- Building Knowledge and fluency as it relates to Patient health Insurance and eligibility
- Ability to accurately process patient payments and assist patients with account inquiries.
- learning and performing Document management/ faxing / scanning
Qualifications:
- Medical terminology and Knowledge of HIPAA
- Previous experience with EMR
- Ability to interface with all patient populations and communicate clearly and effectively with all patients, patient family members, staff and management.
- Ability to be cross-trained in all facets of medical office administration
Preferred candidate / skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience in a primary care medical practice setting
- Past experience with eClinical EMR preferred
- Medical administration certificate program
- Knowledge of various medical technologies, equipment associated with out-patient healthcare, and testing procedures
