- Maintain phone coverage and greet visitors and students, take messages, relay information and answer questions within the scope of knowledge and authority, while directing more complex inquires to the appropriate offices and employees.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for correspondence, maintaining data, reports, forms, mailings/Mail Merge. Edit work for accuracy, format, spelling, punctuation, and construction. Assure timely completion of all material.
- Accurately enter class schedules and assist with student registration for undergraduate and graduate students, including student trips.
- Assist in entering School of Business course schedules into University systems.
- Organize and maintain a filing system for internal student records and other office records assuring rapid retrieval of all materials.
- Assist with the coordination and revisions to the School of Business catalog.
- Use University systems and procurement policies fully and effectively, to process student information, requisitions and expense reports, grant accounts and student record keeping. Assist faculty with all reimbursements (travel, supplies, etc.).
- Schedule and enter information into the electronic calendar, university event management system, and School of Business Newsletter.
- Review and route incoming mail for appropriate distribution and action.
- Assist with the organization, preparation, and ordering for receptions, information sessions, open houses, and other university and School of Business events.
- Supervise and coordinate schedules for student workers.
- Provide back-up coverage to maintain office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Provide back-up coverage of other School of Business Administrative Assistants as needed.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience working in high traffic office setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion

- The hourly rate is $23.87
