Baseband Telecom Corporation is a national infrastructure, utilities and specialty contractor serving the wireless, broadband, and telecommunications markets. We plan, design, build and support communications infrastructure for our clients across the Southwest Region.

We are looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to work 20-30 hours per week!

This position is 100% remote, working out of Las Vegas, Nevada, supporting our San Diego construction team remotely. On occassion, the ideal candidate will be asked to assist the Las Vegas construction team, and therefore must be within a commutable distance to our Las Vegas, Nevada project sites. This position will be responsible for supporting the Construction Management team on planning, and facilitation of projects.

Essential Duties:

  • Support the Construction Management Team with all administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with Construction Managers and Planners to ensure job files are properly built and populated.
  • Download job specific information from customer file sharing sites
  • Upload job specific information & post construction packages to customer file sharing sites
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and scanning documents into job folder.
  • Update accounting software with relevant information as needed.
  • Assist Field Technicians with miscellaneous job issues as required.
  • Print plans & other information.
  • Assist with creating purchase orders to input into accounting software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Some college coursework completed. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the construction industry; prefer 1-2 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to write, read, and speak articulately in English; Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible with ability to work independently and/ or team environment.
  • Excellent computer software skills including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
