Administrative Assistant – Workplace Resources (WPR)
  • Governance & Vendor Management – You will provide support for calendaring, travel, expenses, along with management and oversight of special projects, for both the Directors of Governance & Vendor Management and Workplace Experience.
  • Workplace Resources (WPR) – To perform these tasks efficiently, you will become familiar with the WPR organization, specific to the industry of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities
  • Culture Ambassador/Internal Resource – Can you be the go-to person for the organization… advise the flow of information and people, determining when to refer resources, and to whom or what system they should be referred?

Representative Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management – Manages Director’s calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings. For example, may decide who gets on principal’s calendar, which meetings are attended, and who can attend in their place.
  • Meeting Planning and Organizations – Assists Director in planning and organizing meetings by taking ownership for assembling the agenda, location, meeting technology (WebEx, TP) based upon participant needs, and all other meeting logistics. May further prepare meeting briefing documents by taking and disseminating notes and formulating post meeting action item lists.
  • Strong written and verbal communication – using your administrative, and organizational skills, you will be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and excel under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Correspondence/Approvals – Support the Director by acting as proxy for communications (both internal and external) and approvals as authorized. Answers general questions as necessary and refers (filters) routine matters to appropriate parties and follows up to ensure proper disposition.
  • Travel Planning – Responsible for making travel arrangements for the principal and team. Carefully consider and decide the optimum travel arrangements and itinerary for calendared meetings while handling Cisco expenses.
  • Special Projects – Provides analytical support to assist the team on special projects. Research issues, analyze problems, compile data, and utilize PowerPoint to prepare presentations or reports.
  • Admin Customer Resource Manager – Be the WPR Ambassador across Cisco as a whole, coordinating activities with other EA's and executives in Cisco. Work is generally of a critical, sometimes confidential nature and is the connector that ensures the company flows



Who You'll Work With
  • Your role in Workplace Resources will be working with members of the Governance & Vendor Management team, and Workplace Experience. You will collaborate with regional teams in all theatres.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years’ experience in an administrative environment. A minimum of two years of experience supporting a principal who was at the Director level and above.
  • Champions improvements. Solves problems and makes decisions. Demonstrates leadership.
  • Great attention to detail and the maturity to handle confidential information is a requirement.
  • Works in an organized and focused manner. Proactive by nature.
  • Desktop calendar management program experience.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Mac/Windows desktop computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of Executive/Senior staff and clients.
  • Collaborative style, with excellent partnership.
Desired Skills
  • Past work experience in the high-tech industry is desired; prior Cisco experience preferred.
  • AA Degree desired, undergrad preferred
