We are seeking candidates for the position of Admissions Coordinator at Felician Village. We are a continuum of care campus located on 23 acres in Manitowoc. We have been a part of this community for over a century. We are also the proud recipient of the Best in the Lakeshore for 13 straight years.

Some of the main job duties for this position include:

• · Coordinates the preadmission process and acts as the liaison between the customer and the facility.
• · Establishes and maintains a positive community reputation through a physical presence and engagement with external organizations
• · Obtains the necessary approvals for admission from a clinical and financial perspective
• · Coordinates and attends on-site events and educational events to engage with those attending
• · Communicates market changes and census development barriers to the Director of Marketing
• · Manages conversion process from inquiries to admissions
• · Maintains a thorough knowledge of the facilities services and quality outcomes.
• · Conducts tours of Felician Village Campus
• · Tracks sales activities using the Computer System
• · Completes the applicable admissions paperwork with patient and/or family as needed
• · Attends Care Planning Conferences.
• · Works in collaboration with the business office, clinical team and social worker for a smooth admission process
• · Manage the nursing home and rehab unit waiting lists
• · Provides daily updates on referrals, pending admissions, tours, and sales/marketing activities
• · Participates in admission coverage (referral phone)
• · Coordinates the campus-wide bed board

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication and be extremely self-motivated. A background in healthcare is preferred.
