We are looking for Instructors who will teach In-person Snapology Program, typically 3-10 hours per week using LEGO bricks. If you are looking for more hours we have Spring Camps and Summer Camps coming up, in which you could work up to 30 hours a week.
Programs are conducted for children ages 5-10. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead groups of 15 students through curriculum-guided activities
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
- Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions
- Participate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings, as required
Qualifications:
- Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
- 1-2 years of experience working with children in a in person class environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
- Should be able to commute by themselves from one location to the other with the class material (legos) provided.
- You can work all 4 days or only 1, whatever works based on your schedule
Class Timings:
- 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and/or 1PM-5PM (Classes are typically 1.5 - 3 hrs each day). Classes are from Monday - Thursdays. You can only do one - two classes per day since the class timings overlap.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
