What you'll do
- Designing and developing an Agile and Digital curriculum, learning materials, and performance support tools (including self-study, classroom, eLearning, etc.) classroom training, web-based, training videos, and virtual training design
- Creating training solutions that demonstrate an understanding of Agile and lifelong learning principles and that employee current learning trends, including gamification and rich media to enhance the learner experience
- Participating in stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews that enable identification and development of relevant content to design curriculums that support our core methodologies for our end learner community
- Develop learner engagement strategies, and evaluation and implementation plan where needed
- Collaborate with content developers, subject matter experts and experienced National Grid Agile Coaches to support material development needs as appropriate
- Prepare participant materials and room set up (in-person or virtual) for design thinking sessions
- Act in capacity of PO/PM working with customers to identify frictions and solving through tooling specifically for Jira and Jira Align
- Collaboration with cross functional teams leveraging Jira Align data lake or Power BI reporting, training, change management, etc.
- Working with business office team, training, and POM implementation team to stand up metrics reporting using ALM tooling such as time to market, quality, productivity and flow metrics
- You will be accountable for ensuring that teams are aware of their roles and responsibilities, are operating within the guardrails of the appropriate Agile framework and are applying techniques and principles in a consistent manner pertaining to Jira and Jira Align
- Strengthen National Grid’s collective Agile know-how by actively contributing to our communities of practice and other Agile-related forums which are designed to increase collaboration, further best practice, promote a culture of innovation and ensure that our new ways of working stick in the organization
- Ad hoc administration and configuration of Jira and Jira Align
- You are a strong and influential leader who collaborates naturally with others whatever their level in the organization. You will leverage this skill to stamp your mark on all our transformational journey to ensure that our teams are ‘being agile’ and not just ‘doing agile’
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.
- 7+ years hands on Agile coaching experience required. Must have coached SAFe, Scrum and Kanban.
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) and proof of up-to-date enablement’s to be able to facilitate a broad range of SAFe courses. • Hands-on experience participating in and training Scrum/SAFe events, such as DSUs, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Retrospectives, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Experience facilitating a broad range of perspectives (i.e. SAFe, Scrum, Spotify). Solid working knowledge of Jira, Jira Align and similar ALM tools

Salary
$139,000 - $197,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
