Description:

The Anti-Money Laundering Risk (AML Risk) team is embedded within the Firm’s business line. It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risks associated with higher risk client types. The AML Risk team is the First Line of defense and supports the onboarding, client due diligence, enhanced due diligence and negative news processes for Morgan Stanley.

The AML Risk Initiatives team is responsible for managing a variety of initiatives that provide solutions and improvements to the AML Risk production team. The candidate will work with the AML Risk team and cross-functional business partners to define short-term and long-term strategic plans, identify cross-impacts and dependencies, and drive project milestones to timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and provide Project Management support for initiatives across the AML Risk Organization
    Evaluate business processes, gather and document business requirements, conduct testing, and help implement solutions
    Assess current state business analysis and help design and develop a robust framework and business process for the AML Risk platform
    Facilitate and host meeting discussions with AML Risk team and stakeholders
    Influence and collaborate effectively with AML Risk team and stakeholders

    Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience in project management &/or business analysis work

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 85000 and 130000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
