We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Universal Signs & Accessories minutes from Downtown Fort Pierce, FL! This position includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, who has a strong eye for detail, excellent data entry skills, and a strong initiative to improve processes. General responsibilities pertaining to this position include, but not limited to:

· Process client invoices & vendor bills

· Reconcile checking & credit card accounts

· Prepare bank deposits via check scanner

· Accept payments via TSYS

· Contact clients to collect past due amounts

· Assisting with the customer & vendor credit applications

· Prepare and file NTOs & releases

· Assist in sales and use tax by preparing reports and entering in data

· Handling RMA return requests, vendor credits, etc.

· Keeping office supplies stocked

· Assist in ad-hoc related projects with Controller and/or CEO

Skills and Qualifications:

· High School Diploma required. Bachelors in Accounting or related field is preferred.

· At least 2 years of experience in a related role required

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (Zoho Books a plus)

· Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus

· Strong experience in AR collections is a huge bonus!

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· A can-do, go-getter attitude

Pay:

$45,000 a year, salaried, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
