Apartment Property Manager/ Leasing Agent
Our Team of Professionals is looking for a candidate that can join our fun fast pace, multi tasked work environment. Will be responsible for placing ads, answering the phone, setting up appointments, showing/touring and renting apartments. Plus processing all paper work for move ins and move outs. Along with assisting current residents with their needs filling out work orders and follow up that was done. Scheduling move outs and vendors to come in to complete the turn for the next resident to move in. Will manage maintenance personal with there daily duties
MUST KNOW HOW TO USE RENT MANAGER SOFTWARE
MUST HAVE at least 3 years experience in property management.
This position we are seeking is for a dual role at our 75 unit complex in Battle Creek. It requires strong sales and marketing skills, excellent writing and verbal communication. Along with having experience with Microsoft Office, Social Media and Basic Math functions. Must have an outgoing friendly personality.
Being able to work independently, have excellent time management skills, be able to create a plan, have critical thinking skills and ability to follow up on tasks to see them through to the end. The right candidate will be attentive to details, very organized, and work cooperatively with other members of the staff and residents. Be able to meet deadlines, and be able to execute job duties under stressful circumstances. Must be able to work some Saturdays.
Other Responsibilities and Requirements
Following Fair Housing guidelines
Maintain a professional appearance as a company representative, demonstrating sound judgment, and conduct.
Answering the phone and greeting guests in a professional manner to create a warm inviting feeling
Process Applications for perspective residents
Preparing Lease contracts with 100 percent accuracy and other required documents
Preparing move out packets
Following procedures to coordinate residents moving in and out of the community in a timely manner
Striving to maintain a high occupancy rate- holding time that units sit vacant to a very low minimum.
Must meet the physical requirements to show apartments, such as climbing stairs, walking from building to building
Must present the ability to execute job duties under stressful circumstances, such as last minute changes, and deadlines
Good Attendance is a Must
Valid Drivers License & Transportation
Must have general office computer skills, to be able to use word, excel, fax machine, scan documents.
Must have ability to use social media for placing daily ads and have the skills to manage and direct others
Able to read, learn and explain terms of lease
Able to organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation
Pay is based on experience and skill level

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
