Responsibilities:
- Create patterns, and mock-ups from preliminary design sketches or ideas
- Ensure standards for high quality, fit, function is all met in pattern making creations
- Collaborate with our Product Developers and Design to communicate fit updates to factories
- Function as a technical expert and mentor others to efficiently interpret design intent
- Leverages internal and external resources, and demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
- Ensures feasibility of design's fit intent, and collaborate with cross functional teams on calendar adherence
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- New York, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Garment construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
