Job Description

Our Mobile Fluid Power division is looking for an Application Engineer to provide support to our sales reps and to provide customer solutions during sales presentations. This position is exempt.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and solutions during sales visits to customers.
• Provide material options based on application requirements to sales / customers.
• Resolve customer quality issues and customer technical issues.
• Manage the Sample Program, providing material samples or prototype parts to meet customer requirements.
• Provide cost estimates for solution based selling projects.
• Provide programming and tooling support for manufacturing equipment.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Minimum of a 2 year technical degree required.
• EXPERIENCE: Five years in manufacturing environment. 3 years of SolidWorks and CAD experience.
• SKILL: Strong knowledge of plastic materials, understanding of material data specifications and material physical properties. Ability to produce and interpret mechanical drawings, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, understanding of quality principles, ability to communicate and work well with Managers, Supervisors, and employees, strong math skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

Work hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Overtime maybe required to support business needs.
