Ideal candidates will have a professional degree in architecture & Iowa registration preferred. Must exhibit skill and experience in designing and drafting in all phases of work with emphasis in Design Development, Construction Document and As-built phases of a project. Applicants must be proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, StruCalc or similar 3D drafting & structural software and Adobe Suite. Excellent presentation, writing and verbal skills are advantageous. Duties
- Work with teams between multiple offices on a variety of project types, including laboratories, educational facilities, civic and government buildings, and other project types
- Assist with marketing and developing strong relationships with existing clients and new client leads
- Research and interpret applicable codes and regulations and verify that materials and details of construction are in conformance with codes and regulations.
- Assist with production of construction drawings, exhibits, and reports using Revit.
- Assist with the preparation of technical and front-end specifications.
- Provide architectural design input to the project team.
- Assist with feasibility studies, programming, schematic design, life safety and building envelope assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Architecture Degree required.
- State of Iowa and Illinois Professional Architectural License required.
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Ability and desire to effectively communicate.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and other design communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed architect or licensure-candidate with 2- 25+ years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate design ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate work efforts between multiple internal disciplines and external consultants.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and other design communication tools
Behavioral and Physical Function Requirements
The Construction Worker will work in conditions of repetitive movement, bending and twisting, climbing, using hands to lift, push, pull, carry, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The Construction Worker lifts heavy objects (50+ pounds), walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must be able to read and follow instructions. Must be able to work harmoniously with others.
