Assembler/Fabricator -- Full-Time Job at Stoughton/STI Holdings

$18 - $20 an hour

1st shift starts at 5:30 in the morning and ends at 4 in the afternoon.

2nd shift begins at 4:30 in the afternoon and ends at 3 in the morning.

A bonus of $2 will be given to those working on 2nd shift.

Key Job Responsibilities

As part of your job, you will need to handle various kinds of tools that are mandatory for the job, including hand drill, hammer, needle gun, caulk gun, chisel, utility knives, putty scraper, disk sander, rivet gun, impact wrench, huck gun, router, grinder and tape measure.

You will also need to prepare metal surfaces to clean trailer components using solvents and caulk all necessary trailer seams and joints.

You will be able to position and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. You will also be responsible for sub-assemblies such as brake hoses, light boxes, axles, air brake systems, nose boxes, wiring harnesses, tire-rim mounting, doors, walls, and more. You will have the ability to drill through aluminum, steel, and wood.

You will be required to perform measurement layouts per blueprints and complete all assigned tasks safely, efficiently, timely, accurately, and productively according to company policy.

Overtime is mandatory, and you should be willing to work it. %MC
