Hiring Range: $74,000.00 - $93,000.00/yr. (The anticipated starting salary pay range of $74,000.00 - $93,000.00/yr. is based on minimum requirements for this position. Minimum requirements are an Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 10 years of relevant experience. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)

RSI EnTech, LLC is recruiting for an Asset Management Business Analyst to provide analytical support and support Asset Management systems. The Asset Management Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the Facility Information Management System (FIMS), Condition Assessment Information System (CAIS), and Integrated Facilities and Infrastructure (IFI) Data Quality Programs as part of the Asset Management team.

This position is required to travel at least 20% of the time.

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
  • Under limited supervision, assists with the development, administration, and operation of all FIMS, CAIS, IFI, and CAS reporting requirements.
  • Ensures real property asset data and information is current, accurate, and of high-quality standard.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of procedures for managing Real Property in FIMS, including day-to-day operations, reporting, data validation preparations, and annual data call requirements.
  • Communicates with other FIMS and real property specialist on a daily basis regarding real property FIMS actions including but not limited to the addition, deletion, or modification of any FIMS assets, source documentation, or special requests from the DOE client.
  • Receives complex data pertaining to the condition of LM facilities based on assessments from subject matter experts (SMEs); interprets condition assessment data to determine appropriate data elements and format for entry into FIMS database asset tables.
  • Enters or updates facilities data in Excel data cost spreadsheets and FIMS database asset tables with accuracy; confers with SMEs to resolve inconsistencies or missing data; interfaces with site leads and accounting personnel to collect changes to source data for updates to the spreadsheets and database; compares data entered with source documents to detect errors and make necessary corrections.
  • Drafts and edits facility condition assessment reports in accordance with DOE requirements; reviews reports for quality control and determines where corrections are needed.
  • Tracks all source documents for historical record.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
  • Supports efforts in the development and implementation of a successful Condition Assessment Survey Program for the entire LM program.
  • Communicates key insights and findings to project teams.
  • Constantly on the lookout for ways to improve processes, discover issues and deliver better value to the client.
  • Perform quality assurance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Work experience, skills, and capabilities needed:
  • Ability to apply knowledge of administrative rules, federal regulations; policies and practices associated with real and personal property management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict management and working in concert with others to accomplish team's overall goals.
  • Solid technical writing skills, including citing sources.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in real property and land asset management.
  • Ability to have a major impact on organizational success and productivity, with considerable latitude for independent judgment and critical thinking. Must be willing to provide improvement recommendations and efficiencies.
  • Effective analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses, and software proficiency required:

  • High level of knowledge and proficiency in office management systems, including spreadsheet software, database systems, word processing and email/internet applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Understand capabilities and limitations of systems and database concepts.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Desirable qualifications, experience, or proficiencies of the ideal candidate:

  • Previous FIMS Training and/or DOE Condition Assessment Information System (CAIS) User Training.
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience with data management or detailed report creation. Equivalent combination of specialized education and experience will be considered.
