Job Summary:

Work with members of the treatment team to provide a range of Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) assessments and clinical services for clients with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities, under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzes client data to monitor ongoing progress, modifying goals as needed.
• Assists in development of individualized goals and objectives for home and community based treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Collaborates with licensed supervisors in administering, conducting, evaluating and supervising the implementation of behavioral and functional assessments.
• Engages in a wide range of activities providing behavior analytic assessment and treatment in the home, community or center-based setting under the supervision of a BCBA/Licensed Supervisor.
• Maintains adequate client records and records of services delivered to clients according to organization standards.
• Participates in and attends supervision meetings as scheduled by supervising BCBA.
• Provides staff and parent training.

• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy or related field, or equivalent years of experience or education

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
