JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, changes pricing of items going out of code and does all department tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
  • The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, performs markdowns and tracks loss and does all department tasks as needed.
  • The Associate must be able to perform all tasks associated with the Deli Carryout/Café Associate.
  • The Associate cleans and sanitizes all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.

JOB TASKS:

Task 1. The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, checks dates, changes pricing of items going out of date and does all department tasks as needed.
Task 2. The Associate makes sandwiches, rollups, grinders and wraps, labels, and puts them into the display case.

Task 3. The Associate mixes, rolls, adds ingrededients for pizza, starts up the pizza oven, puts the pizza into the oven to cook, removes and cuts the pizza, serves the pizza to customers.
Task 4. The Associate waits on customers, cuts/slices meat or cheese, serves out deli food into containers, weighs/labels the items.
Task 5. The Associate carries cases of chicken/turkey to work table, puts chicken on roasting spit, puts spits into roasting oven, roasts chicken, wraps/labels the chicken. The Associate cleans roaster, dumps the oil and takes the oil to the rear of the store.
Task 6. The Associate carries cases of chicken parts to work table, dips chicken in batter, fills the fryer basket with chicken and fries the chicken, wraps and labels the fried chicken. The Associate adds oil, cleans the fryer when necessary.
Task 7. The Associate breaks down and cleans specified equipment every 4 hours.
Task 8. The Associate pushes/pulls a U boat cart to receiving, loads the cart with cartons and containers, and pushes the cart to the
Department, unloads and stores goods and supplies.
Task 9. The Associate changes the CO2 tanks or syrup tanks at dispenser when necessary.

Task 10. The Associate uses wipes, brooms, hoses, squeegees, mop/pail, cleaners and sanitizers to clean, wash, rinse, and sanitize implements, equipment, cases, floors, and counters.
Task 11. The Associate prepares and stocks all products in department sales floor cases.
Task 12. The Associate tracks and records loss.
Task 13. The Associate performs numerous record keeping functions (Temperature charts, sanitation logs, production planning, etc.).
