Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager for the Group Reservation Coordinators and will be responsible for assisting the Global Groups and Wholesale Manager in leading and coordinating the department's operations. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Manager to ensure that the Group reservation coordinator team runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service to both clients and colleagues.

  • The budgeted range starts at $52,000 - $62,465. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Global Groups and Wholesale manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, including managing staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service, including addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with the Manager to develop and implement strategies that, streamline processes, improve the customer experience and improve stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide training and coaching to new and existing staff members to ensure that they are meeting departmental standards and goals.
  • Analyze departmental performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as needed to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholder to ensure seamless coordination of group reservations across 15 different resorts.
  • Manage special projects as assigned by the Group Reservation Coordination Manager.


Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a management role in the hospitality industry, with a focus on group reservations and events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills to develop a team of staff.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with hotel reservation systems Iqware and group sales software FDC/Delphi is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer software programs.


The expected pay range is $52,000 - $62,465. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
