Riverside restaurant is looking for an ambitious hospitality professional to join our management team. As Assistant Manager of the restaurant, you will direct the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure that all operational standards are upheld. As a leader of the restaurant’s culinary values, you will also share your enthusiasm with guests and staff for efforts to source and showcase the incredible flavors of our region. You will report directly to the Restaurant Managers, playing a critical role maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness, high-quality service, and guest satisfaction.

Job Summary

• Cultivate efficient and accurate service alongside positive guest relations.
• Ensure prepared foods are consistent with company quality standards through visual inspection.
• Supervise and manage all restaurant staff, to ensure that all restaurant policies are upheld.
• Train new employees on company policies and standards onrestaurant service, facilities maintenance, operational guidelines.
• Closely monitor the restaurant floor to ensure all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness through direct visual inspection continually during all hours of operation.
• Update and print menus as required.
• Monitor support staff to ensure all tables are set and ready and servers are set up for success.
• Engage with guests making sure that all first-time visitors and long tenured patrons are feeling that they made the right decision in choosing Riverside.
• Provide personal service and concierge recommendations for guests whenever possible.
• Sincerely seeks guests’ comments and quickly and willingly handle complaints or concerns.
• Work the floor in whatever capacity is needed at any given time, leading by example alongside your team.
• Make sure that all paperwork is done accurately for end of day or change of shift.
• Assist management in scheduling and the managing of time off requests.
