Duties and Responsibilities

• Help maximize productivity and profit margins
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Work with service manager to develop processes that help with workflow
• Manage a team of technicians
• Work with sales departments to ensure inventory vehicles are in good working order
• Periodically help technicians complete work in a timely manner
• Document customer concerns and relay information to technicians
• Manage a cash drawer and receive payments
• Submit information to extended warranty companies
• Order and receive parts while monitoring estimated arrival dates and contacting customers upon parts arrival.
• Perform any tasks given by upper management team and ownership

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work while standing for several hours
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with external and internal customers
• Ability to use technology such as software programs and diagnostic equipment
• Management experience (preferred)
• At least 5 years total experience as an advisor or technician in an automotive shop (required)
• Have strong automotive technical background with at least 2 years of technician experience in an automotive shop (required)
• Able to pass criminal background and driving record checks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
