S.G. Torrice Company is currently seeking an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to assist the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations.

Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a comparable position
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain a clean organized work environment
• Capability to multi-task and highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Forklift certification required
• Proficient with MS office applications, in particular Outlook, Excel, and Word; ability to learn/develop competency in eClipse (customer system)

Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Assist Warehouse Manager with any shipping/receiving concerns
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and make any adjustments necessary
• Ensure building is locked and alarm is set at the end of each day
• Work closely with Warehouse Manager to assign tasks and projects as needed
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Ability to train new warehouse associates and coach current associates on best practices
• Ability to make decisions in the Warehouse Manager’s absence
• Communicate with other branches about inventory errors, mispicks and other concerns
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
