KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Data Program Execution to join our Enterprise Data Services organization.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement and continuous improvement as well as creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization
- Execute on KPMG transformational programs/projects; work with the key stakeholders to establish integrated plans for the data workstream of strategic programs including development, reporting and maintenance of integrated program plan including key milestones, reporting, issue management, program metrics
- Work and proactively with EDS, business stakeholders and IT teams to assess, solution and deliver on data use cases; participate in program governance and steering committees; oversee communication strategy, roadmap, and implementation; manage data culture and change management strategy, roadmap and implementation
- Deliver enterprise transformational programs through entire life cycle from a data perspective; collaborate across departments/functions to deliver high quality products including, reporting, integration and change management solutions; be responsible for prioritization of backlog, story grooming and agile team leadership; take overall responsibility and accountability for team deliverables
- Interact regularly with delivery partners and/or department leaders; proactively initiate ideas to improve client service for a specific work product within a department; contribute to department or group objectives, strategy and priorities; set tactical plan for execution of strategic objectives
- Manage global resource center partnership (outsource/captive providers) and to achieve project or service success metrics which includes all vendor contractual obligations, such as SLA management, work product and review/revisions and acceptance/sign-off, phase gate approvals, payment and penalty approvals
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent leadership experience in a federated organization with experience serving as a Product Owner in an agile environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Able to manage change and effectively communicate to teams; advanced knowledge of the broader scope that frames the essential technical area of work with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy; knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to understand the complexity of a matrixed professional services firm / partnership; proven capability to lead in a matrixed manner; able to maintain a flexible schedule due to travel, deadlines and/or duties outside of normal business hours due to global nature of the role; exceptional track record influencing diverse sets of stakeholders and driving common outcomes
- Experience working with various vendors and evaluating vendor solutions against the business needs, developing proof of concept (POCs) and driving forward pilots, as well as with assessing business use cases across the data supply chain and developing requirements and testing strategies
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals, participate in strategic initiatives for a team, foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; able to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
