PARTS RUNNER:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
EXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES:
Supports the Apple Auto Group mission, vision, philosophy, and values.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- To pick up and deliver parts to wholesale customers and the shop. This position is also for transporting internal needs for the Apple Auto Group. This position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement of Local 974.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Main responsibility is transporting all materials between our dealerships.
- Deliver and pick up parts.
- Keep up on truck maintenance.
- Help pull and ship orders when time allows
- Help clean and organize the department when time allows.
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Asst. Parts Manager/ Parts Manager
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Great communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Fair knowledge of the community
- Be able to assist with customer or vendor issues
- Lift some heavy items
