High Performance Aviation, LLC is looking for an Business Operations Manager to join our growing team at the Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport to oversee operations of our sales and maintenance divisions.

Role Summary:
The Aviation Business Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of business operations within the aviation sales organization and the aircraft maintenance shop. The role includes management of key personnel and oversight of business financial performance. The role will report to the President/CEO of the organization. Responsibilities include recruitment, team management, and performance management. The Operations Manger will also serve in a business development and customer relations capacity as required for both the sales and maintenance businesses.
The ideal candidate is expected to have management experience with FBO, sales, flight school, or maintenance organizations. Sales experience is preferred. Candidate must be computer-savvy and be able to understand and interpret business financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both the aviation sales division and aircraft maintenance shop.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
- Manage key personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a competent and motivated team.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements.
- Collaborate with the CEO/President in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Foster a success-oriented, customer-focused environment within the company.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including networking, trade shows, and customer relations.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and external agencies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business reports such as financial statements, client activity reports, and performance records.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain CRM and maintenance tracking software systems to ensure seamless operational processes.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across the company.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and aviation industry.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of aviation experience
- Familiarity with MS Office products
- Proficiency with computers and software
- Familiarity with a variety of general aviation aircraft models
- Familiar with aircraft maintenance requirements and terminology
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to adapt easily to new technology
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Private Pilot w/ Instrument Rating
- A&P or aviation maintenance experience
- Sales experience
- Familiarity with a variety of aircraft models and avionics
- Experience with CRM software and/or computer-based maintenance tracking
