SUMMARY
In this position the Goldbelt Nighthawk employee provides subject matter expertise in USMC Aviation operations supporting a headquarters organization responsible for Aviation Plans and Policies as well as aviation training and readiness within the U.S. Marine Corps. The Aviation Resource Management Analyst will be assigned responsibility for completion of all assigned tasks including customer relations and task performance and the efficient management of available resources. The duties and responsibilities of this position can be fulfilled either on-site at the contractor field office vicinity of Quantico, VA or from a distributed geographical location.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide technical and subject matter expertise in the development of Core Competency Resource Models (CCRM) for tactical Fixed-wing, Rotary-wing and operational support Type/Model/Series aircraft in the USMC inventory.
- Provide technical and subject matter expertise in the development and maintenance of aviation operations and readiness.
- Assist in the development of Core Competency Resource Models for tactical Fixed and Rotary Wing and operational support Type/Model/Series aircraft in the USMC inventory.
- Assist in the creation, update, distribution, and revision of all CCRM related products.
- Work in concert with uniformed and government service personnel to ensure that the CCRM technical content being developed is accurate, current and approved.
- Facilitating Government-Contractor communications and serve as the primary technical point of contact for all matters related to Core Competency Resource Modeling and its linkages to current operational readiness.
- Other tasks may be assigned/accomplished provided they do not prohibitively interfere with the primary responsibilities as outlined above.
Qualifications:
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of governmental aviation safety regulatory and oversight programs.- Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills, including superior ability to think strategically.
- Demonstrated ability to execute senior-level guidance in a fast-paced environment and superior ability to translate strategic goals into specific objectives with appropriate metrics and methods to track progress towards meeting those goals.
- Information Management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels in a large, complex, military organization as well as the ability to work with senior leadership in a corporate environment.
- Intermediate to advanced computing skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information and ideas verbally and in writing and communicate across various levels of management.
- Experience generating and presenting technical findings using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 20 years’ experience in USMC Aviation to include Flight Leadership experience and qualifications.
- Navy/Marine Corps Fixed Wing /Rotary Wing/Unmanned Air Systems aviation experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance.
