Job Description:
AWS Solutions Architect
What you will do:
- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and SREs to create and drive solution architecture for multi-phase modernization initiative.
- In addition to being strongly technical, the ability to collaborate, influence, and build consensus across diverse teams is important for this role.
- This candidate will be self-driven and demonstrate ownership and the ability to identify issues and opportunities in a dynamic environment.
- This role will develop, maintain, and socialize the technology strategy and architecture for the product roadmap.
- Partnering with product teams and others, this architect will create solutions for business opportunities and challenges in a modern, secure, and resilient way aligning to enterprise architectural patterns and industry best practices.
- To accomplish this, the candidate should have demonstrated knowledge in the following areas:
What you will bring to C&F:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Expertise in developing governance, guardrails and patterns for application security, data and APIs
- Fluency in architecture and design across all systems
- Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture
- Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
- Experience in risk and risk control compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goal
- Expertise with AWS cloud provider solutions
- Must have a proven track record of delivering successful strategic architecture design and strategy at the enterprise level
- Experience in running production applications in AWS Public Cloud
- Deep knowledge in any of the AWS Solutions: Compute, Networking, Databases, Security etc.
- Secure Applications development and Controls Compliance
- Development of Highly Available, Resilient and Scalable solutions
- Microservices, Events and APIs based architecture solutions
- Expertise in DevSecOps practices using modern CI and CD tools
This role requires a wide variety of experience, strengths, and capabilities, including:
Minimum of 8 years of work experience as an architect or a lead engineer responsible for designing large scale solutions and overseeing delivery in production.- Experience in production operations and servicing areas
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming languages (Java, Python, Nodejs etc.)
- Understanding of financial control and budget management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
