Bakery Retail Sales Associate

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience

We would like to hire a full-time, outgoing team member who enjoys interacting with our amazing customers. Open availability is required, including weekend shifts.

Termini Brothers has been open since 1921, our brand represents a step into the past, where technology and automation take a back seat to artistry and old world craftsmanship. Today, with five retail locations and our online storefront, everyone has the opportunity to take a step into the past and savor the sweetness of a bygone era.

We are currently hiring for positions in various locations. Position includes:

• Flexible, consistent scheduling of FT hours
• Unlimited upward growth opportunities

• 1 week PTO (After 6 months from hire date)

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide professional, concise, and courteous interactions with customers and co-workers
• Respond effectively to customer inquiries
• Effectively up-sell and cross-sell related Termini products to customers
• Carefully box and package customer purchases
• Stock cakes and pastry goods on counters and showcases
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls as needed
• Document and process custom orders
• Accurately calculate sales transactions and provide detailed operation of cash registers, credit card transactions and bakery scales
• General opening/closing/cleaning duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• "People person" personality with customer interaction skills - we love our customers & customer service is the backbone of our company
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• 2 years of relevant customer service experience preferred
• Professional verbal and written communications skills
• Contribution to a positive and friendly team environment
• Neat and clean, professional appearance
• Ability to commute to all locations in South Philadelphia & Center City

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
