Bar Manager
Welcome to Albuquerque Distilling, one of Albuquerque’s newest distilleries in town. We are a small family-owned business dedicated to producing great local spirits. Our tasting room offers an elegant and relaxing environment for patrons to enjoy amazing craft cocktails and hearty comfort food.
Bar Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventory.
- Creates seasonal drink menus.
- Ensures bar is well-stocked and clean.
- Tracks customer behavior and sales.
- Maintains budget and monitors costs.
- Maintains drink recipe documentation.
- Oversees planning for special events.
- Appropriately delegates tasks to staff.
- Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies.
- Oversees staff, including bartenders and barbacks, wait staff, and/or kitchen staff as well.
- Trains new employees
- Selects music, books bands, and provides input on décor and marketing, including social media and other forms of publicity.
- Initiates and maintains vendor relationships.
- Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.
25hrs – Full Time
Since we are an upcoming brand in the Albuquerque area looking to develop and grow. This position allows for great deal creativity to give one the opportunity to put their own twist on the growing local craft cocktail scene. Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate’s degree or higher in hotel and restaurant management a plus.
- Servers license.
- Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant.
- Supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.
