We are looking for a friendly, non opinionated, proficient individual with a clean professional appearance to keep the passion for coffee going in our shop which is located in The Madison/Midwood location of Brooklyn (South Brooklyn)
We are 6+ years old and have a very dedicated following and want to grow with the right people that can keep the mood going (almost a perfect score on Google and Yelp). We roast our own and are a true Third wave/on demand coffee shop.
The job requirements are fairly straight forward, pretty much what you would expect in a sometimes busy coffee bar (espresso drinks, milk stretching and steaming, pour-overs both hot and Cold, grinder and espresso machine operation and daily maintenance/sanitation etc.) and while we appreciate experience, we've got recipes that our customers expect (consistency) so we want someone that will learn those and continue developing what we have started.
The right candidate will have or will get a NYC Food Safety certificate within 6 months of hire.
If interviewed please be prepared to make some espresso and coffee drinks.
