Job Title: Bartender
Country Place is a high volume restaurant and tavern in Perkasie, PA. We are looking for an experienced part-time bartender. Must be able to work weekends.
Duties:
- Prepare drinks in a quick and efficient manner in accordance with standard recipes.
- Work closely and efficiently with other bartenders during your shift to ensure seamless guest service.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen.
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely matter.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with their experience. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Maintain a clean stocked bar.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow coworkers as situations arise.
- Perform assigned side work at the start and end of each shift.
- Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift.
Requirements:
- Have working knowledge of standard drink recipes.
- Have working knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
- Understand the classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names, and garnishes.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a positive attitude and an ability to work well under pressure with coworkers.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work weekends.
