Job Description:

Our restaurant is currently seeking to hire a Bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests in a timely manner
• Creating new and innovative cocktail recipes
• Planning and presenting bar menu to customers
• Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area
• Taking orders and handling cash and credit card transactions
• Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Providing excellent customer service to guests
• Offering menu recommendations and suggestions to guests
• Following all relevant health department regulations
• Monitoring the alcohol intake of guests and refusing service to customers who appear intoxicated
• Handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensuring that all supplies and ingredients are fully stocked
• Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure that food and drink orders are delivered in a timely manner
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all menu items and specials
• Assisting with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of a wide range of drink recipes and mixology techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 21 years of age
