Bartender (Part-time) Job at Searstone Retirement Community
Searstone Retirement Community in Cary is seeking someone with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a part-time Bartender. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Salary range is $16 - $18/hour, and will be based on experience. This is a non-tipped position. Other evening server shifts can be made available.
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older and have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. 0 to 1 year related experience. Ability to accurately mix drinks from a variety of recipes. Work well with management and staff. Be able to interact positively and cordially with customers. Must be physically able to stand on feet for the extent of the shift and work assignment. Must be able to understand and speak English. Up to date Covid vaccination is required.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
2. Take beverage orders from wait staff or from customers directly
3. Fulfill drink orders submitted through wait staff or from customers directly
4. Prepare garnishes
5. Maintain a neat and sanitary bar area
6. Clean glasses, utensils and other bar equipment
7. Operate Point of Sale system for charges to customer accounts or credit card payments
8. Attend training classes as deemed necessary
9. Comply with all company policies and procedure.
May perform other duties as assigned.
